Different / Same Price Exchanges
Some merchants experience with pricing, so the current price in the store might not be the same as on the original order of the return.
By default, if a customer in this scenario wants to exchange an item, the variants will appear as greyed out with a text "(Different Price)".
If you want to allow for exchanges even if the price of the new variant is higher then follow these steps:
  1. 1.
    Navigate to Return Settings
  2. 2.
    Click the tab for Variant-Exchanges
  3. 3.
    Disable the option for "Enable Same-Price exchanges only"
  4. 4.
    Click save

Note

We do not handle charging the customer for a higher price. This is handled by your staff e.g. through a draft order with an invoice being sent to the customer.
